My Journey

My fascination with technology began when I played Super Mario on the NES at age six. After months of trying and failing to beat the game, I made a bold decision: I’ll make my own game, and it’s going to be better. That frustration turned into curiosity, and curiosity led me to QBasic and MS-DOS. I started learning how to build games, and very quickly, writing code became more exciting than playing the games themselves. For the first time, I could create something from scratch—and bring my imagination to life.Life took me to the UK for high school and college. At Imperial College London, I studied computer science full-time while working a 20-hour-a-week retail job at a local sporting goods store. The job paid for my rent and groceries, but more importantly, it gave me early experience working with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. That experience stayed with me far beyond college. After graduation, I moved to San Francisco, where my career took shape over the next two decades. I built products and companies across industries: asset management, e-commerce, MarTech, marketplaces, real estate, AgTech, supply chain, travel, and Google Search. I grew from an individual contributor into a technology executive.Along the way, I learned how to design systems that scale, build teams from scratch, lead through layoffs, and experience the full-circle joy of hiring back some of the people I once had to part ways with.My journey has taught me not just how to build technology but also how to work with people. I know what it takes to create structure out of chaos, to scale both systems and culture, and to lead teams through uncertainty. Now, I'm ready to help you do the same—to bring clarity to complexity, build solutions to challenges, create momentum to your next phase of growth.

Client Voices
Han has been invaluable for MoreGoodDays. As a non-technical founder, I had no idea where to start when we needed to hire engineers. Han stepped in and led the entire process, helping me decide what we needed based on our product vision, then creating the role and assessing for technical fit. Since then, he’s provided ongoing mentorship, advised on architecture and roadmap decisions, and helped shape our GenAI features. He’s clear, kind, and incredibly easy to work with!

I had the pleasure of working with Han during the early stages of building NachoNacho, where he served as a technical advisor. As the CTO, I was navigating a wide range of critical infrastructure decisions, and Han’s guidance, especially around AWS architecture was invaluable._He brought a clear, thoughtful approach to problem-solving and helped me make foundational choices that continue to serve us well today. Beyond technical knowledge, Han was approachable, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed.I highly recommend Han to any team looking for a sharp, reliable technical advisor who understands both the big picture and the technical details.
